Welcome to my Wexford drum lessons drum teacher profile.
Beginners:
Get started by learning essential and simple rhythm patterns and learn the basics of technique and independence (interaction with hands and feet). Playing drums is all about having fun and that’s what the lessons will be.
A quick background about myself and my drumming experience.
I started tapping and driving my mom crazy at about age 10…please get me a drum kit, pleeeease!! Sound familiar?
Having a natural rhythm and feel for the drums I taught myself to play and ended up playing in a couple of garage bands throughout my teens. I decided somewhere around the age of 25 to take it a bit more seriously so I took lessons for about 5 years. Around this time I was playing full time in a band and playing gigs in pubs, weddings, etc about 3 times a week.
Now at the age of 46 I have decided that I want to pass on my knowledge and experience to the next generation of drummers. What could be better than teaching music!
All of my lessons are one on one for the best learning experience and I am available to teach at my location in Wexford or at the students home if preferred.
