Here we are looking at the best drum rudiment. Rudiments are awesome and give us the sticking patterns that we need to unlock our creativity on the drum kit.
Rudiments are part of our language and without them we can’t speak as eloquently on our instrument.
And that is why we must be proficient with the core rudiments if we want to be the best we can on the drums.
But which is the best rudiment? Well in reality there isn’t really a ‘best rudiment’ because we need a good range of rudiments to really excel on the drum kit.
