This Is The Single Stroke Roll HIIT Workout
Welcome to the single stroke roll HIIT workout. Here we will work you hard and by the end of it you will have an awesome drum warm up that you can use everyday to develop speed, strength, control and stamina.
We will use the popular exercises format called HIIT which stand for High Intensity Interval Training.
This involves playing intensely for a period of time (such as 40 seconds) and then resting for a short period (such as 20 seconds). At first this feels easy but over a 20 minute session it becomes very tiring and really pushes you to your limit.
You will be talked through each exercise in real time so you need to be super focussed and tuned in. It doesn’t matter what level you are at….you will be worked hard which makes this a great drum warm up.
But you will also realise that this can be a great exercise routine to perform regularly to develop your hand playing on the drum kit, allowing for smoother drumming at higher speeds.
If you want to develop fast hand speed on the drums then this will have a big impact on your drumming.
