Sextuplet Linear Grooves

Sextuplet Linear Grooves

Learn how to play rudiment based linear grooves as sixteenth note triplets

This Is The Sextuplet Linear Grooves Drum Lesson

Welcome to the sextuplet linear grooves drum lesson. Here we will learn some really fun drum beats.

When we use linear drumming we just play one thing at a time. So we create some really interesting beats that sound a little different. But we going a step further in this lesson because we are combining the linear approach with the sextuplet (or 16th note triplet) subdivision. And then we’re twisting up some common rudiments.

This is a fun approach because we’re taking some well known elements, messing them up a bit, combining them and the result is something very fresh and unusual. You can apply this approach to just about anything to create something fresh and new.
