This Is The Paradiddle Feet With Groove On Top Drum Lesson
Welcome to this paradiddle drum lesson. Here we will learn how to play paradiddles with our feet and then add grooves over the top.
Paradiddles are one of the most common rudiments but we usually play them with our hands. The feet tend to get an easy ride when it comes to rudiments. But when you look at drummers such as Thomas Lang you can see just how capable our feet are if we train them enough.
So in this lesson we are going to delve into a four limb independence challenge where the feet will play the paradiddles. Once you’re comfortable with that we will start to add grooves over the top with the hands.
This is challenging but it’s a lot of fun and really helps to develop your four limb independence.
