Drummers Link is a vibrant and modern drum school based in Northampton, offering group drum classes for ages 6 – 17 years. Our sessions are designed to make learning the drums exciting, social, and rewarding, with a strong focus on teamwork, creativity, and performance.
Our school welcomes students from Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Towcester, Daventry, Rugby and all surrounding areas.

Northampton Drum Lessons
At Drummers Link, we believe learning music is best when it’s a shared experience. That’s why our classes focus on group drumming, allowing students to develop essential skills like playing in time with others, communicating musical ideas, and building confidence to perform live.
Throughout the year, students have the chance to take part in exciting performance opportunities, including our Drummers Link Showcase, where students get to play on stage for family and friends. We also run social events where students can meet fellow drummers, join fun challenges, and feel part of the wider Drummers Link community.
Lessons follow our structured syllabus, covering everything from essential drum beats and fills to creative improvisation, following a wristband grading system where students work through the various colour gradings, similarly to karate belts.

Success Story
Our students have gone on to achieve incredible things, including reaching national competitions like the prestigious Young Drummer of the Year. In 2022, one of our students, Greg Jacobs, made it all the way to the finals – performing live in front of a panel of top UK drummers, including musicians who’ve played with Stormzy, Lewis Capaldi, and on The Voice UK.
This achievement was proudly featured in the Northampton Chronicle & Echo, celebrating the incredible talent nurtured at Drummers Link.
We’ve also helped our students reach degree level music education, and receive music scholarships offered in school.
