My Michelle Drum Notation – Guns N’ Roses
My Michelle Drum Transcription
My Michelle Drum Notation in Full.
This is the My Michelle drum notation. The full drum part has been transcribed so you can learn it accurately. This is a classic Guns N’ Roses song from their debut album Appetite For Destruction in 1987.
It features a slow guitar intro from Slash with cymbal washes from Steven Adler on drums. Adler then crashes in with a flam and the tempo picks up. The verses are mid tempo and heavy sounding but then it changes into a double time feel. The song then moves between these two feels for different sections.
This sounds awesome and makes it really interesting to learn. Follow the My Michelle drum notation and learn the parts. You then need to pay real attention to those time feel changes to navigate accurately through the song.
So below is the exact My Michelle drum notation to learn the Guns N’ Roses tune exactly as it was played.
