Welcome to this Matt Cameron drum lesson where we will learn some of his classic drum beats. Matt was the drummer for Soundgarden when they released some exciting and groundbreaking material. In this drum lessons we focus on the Badmotorfinger album from 1991. We will break down songs such as:

  • Fell On Black Days

In amongst these songs Matt created interesting drum parts that utilised different time signatures, inventive tom rhythms, and unusual phrasing that shifts beneath the other band members. As a result his drum parts are fantastic and quite challenging to learn.
