Here we will learn how to make 16 beats sound exciting. Sixteen beats are one of the most common drum grooves and we often learn them fairly early on in our drumming journey.

They are often associated with disco but in the video lesson below you’ll also see one of many rock examples. These beats are essential to learn and it’s highly likely you have already learnt them in some form.
