Teacher's Biography:
Welcome to my Gorey drum lessons drum teacher profile. My name is Wayne Cox and I have forty years experience in drumming, including UK national tours and multiple professional studio sessions in many drumming styles, from rock and jazz to orchestral prog. I have recorded with Andy Taylor from Duran Duran and played drums on a top five single in Ireland.
I love to pass on my extensive drumming experience to help my students grow as musicians.
My Gorey drum lessons include all the key areas that a student needs to be a great drummer including drum rudiments, reading skills, Trinity drum exam preparation for the rock and pop grade syllabus, recording techniques and more.
The drum lessons are conducted in a recording studio live room so it creates an authentic experience for every drum lesson. This facility includes two acoustic drum kits so myself and the student can both play simultaneously.
