This is one of their most popular songs and is a great showcase for Matt Cameron’s drumming skills navigating through different time signatures and dynamics. He also shows class by holding back where needed but then letting go when the music allows with some awesome fills and heavy grooves.
Released in 1994 on the ‘Superunknown’ album, this track is largely in four four time but then deviates into nine four time for the guitar solo/bridge section. Matt plays some tasteful syncopated patterns with different fills at the end of each bar.
