Welcome to the Holy Diver Drum Notation. This is the full drum sheet music for Holy Diver by Dio.
Holy Diver was the name of Dio’s first album which contained Ronnie James Dio who had recently left Black Sabbath and brought with him the drummer Vinnie Appice (brother of Carmine Appice).
It was released in 1983 as the title track of the album and the lead single. It wasn’t hugely successful commercially but it has endured as one of Dio’s best loved songs to this day.
Vinnie Appice lays down a solid rock drum track which includes some nice sextuplet drum fills, broken sixteenth note grooves and some fun syncopation.
