What is metric modulation?
Metric modulation is when you modulate, or move through, a different rhythmic grouping to transition to a new pulse, time signature or subdivision.
Here we will tackle implied metric modulation so we will go into that transition phase but rather than transitioning somewhere else we will return to the original feel.
This is a really fun rhythmic technique to use and in the lesson we discuss ways you can actually use this in your playing.
