This drum playalong is a fun track called Rainforest. It’s a loop based track so you can just jam and explore ideas.
It’s in four four time signature so it’s pretty easy but there are some interesting syncopated rhythms throughout that you can latch on to if you want to get tasty. As the loop repeats and develops it gives you a chance to really find your groove and then start experimenting around that. You can add drum solos or set up fills to bring in the syncopated riff.
Whatever you choose, drum playalong tracks like this are a great way to build your creativity, musicality, timing and listening skills………..and have lots of fun! These are the core skills that you need when playing in a band so this type of practice is crucial for all drummers.
