Welcome to this drum lesson where we learn how to play grooves with syncopated hi-hat pedal patterns. If you haven’t used your left foot for anything except clamping the hi-hat closed then this will be a fun test.
Many drummers ignore their left foot but it is a limb just like the other ones. And it can play an equally important part in our drumming. Infact if we can develop this limb then our drum beats can instantly sound much more sophisticated.
And that’s what we’re doing in this drum lesson. We will learn how to use it and then create a collection of different grooves that will test your independence to the limit.
