Welcome to the funk drums course. Here we will learn how to play a classic Muse song called Hysteria. Hysteria was released on the 2003 album ‘Absolution’ and has been a staple of their live shows since.
This can be deceptively tricky as Dominic Howard moves between some very complex drum beats and equally difficult fills.
The drum parts work very well to accentuate the rhythms of the guitars but they do require some serious four limb independence.
In this drum lesson we will break down the core beats and fills very slowly before gradually increasing the speed.
