Welcome to my Omaha drum lessons drum teacher profile.
My name is Geddy Johnson and I’ve been drumming since I was 5 years old. I played various percussion instruments (as well as some woodwinds) all through school.
After graduating I was inspired to continue my musical journey and was lucky to find a human services company where I taught adults and children with developmental disabilities art and music lessons for 5 years.
During this time it allowed me the opportunity to play with a number of bands, record some records, travel, and truly hone in on my craft. I was totally consumed by music and the liberating feeling it gave me.
That alone inspired me to share my passion with others. In 2018 a former bandmate of mine had opened a music lessons business and brought me on board as his drum instructor which brings us to today!
