Welcome to my Brixton drum lessons drum teacher profile.
I’ve been playing the drums for 20 years – ever since I heard the unbelievable drum intro to ‘Song 2’ by Blur. I started off playing in bands, and eventually started teaching and then playing on tour. I mainly play pop and rock music but I’ve also played hip-hop, jazz, metal, and punk.
I love playing the drums because nothing in the world feels as good as playing a nice beat that makes people move! My aim with teaching is to pass this enthusiasm on to students, and to help them develop their own musical voice so they can express themselves.
