Welcome to my Fort Mcmurray drum lessons drum teacher profile.

In 2008 after wanting to learn to play drums my whole life I finally took the plunge and purchased my first set of drums. After a few months of trying to teach myself I quickly realized that I needed a drum teacher. Unfortunately at that time in my area there were none to be found, but I did find an incredible bass player who also played drums. Over the next few months he taught me everything he could until he left the area. So my search for my next teacher was on, and I was lucky enough to find a teacher who could teach me online as he was in another province. Since that time I have had several drum teachers, attended a week long intensive drum camp yearly for the past eight years and have been lucky enough to do master classes with some of the top drummers in the world.

I’ve also played in local bands over the years and currently in a classic rock band. My band also hosts an open jam night at one of the local bars in Fort Mcmurray.

I consider myself a lifetime student of this instrument, always learning and always pushing myself to become better.

I currently teach out of my home studio. It has two beautiful high end Yamaha acoustics kits which you will learn on!  I am also set up to do online lessons.
